Do I need an internet connection to play?
No. The core game works fully offline — no wifi or account required. An internet connection is only needed for the optional leaderboard and rewarded ads.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no sign-in of any kind. The leaderboard works with a random display name assigned automatically — you can change it anytime from the leaderboard screen.
How does the leaderboard work?
Brickado has its own online leaderboard, separate from any platform account — every player, regardless of device, shows up on the same board. Your best score is submitted automatically when a game ends; tap the score at the top of the screen (or the Leaderboard button on the game-over screen) to view rankings. You can change your display name from there or from Settings at any time.
How do the Bomb, Shuffle, and Hold power-ups work?
You start with one of each. Bomb clears a 3x3 area when dragged onto the board. Shuffle rerolls all 3 waiting pieces. Hold lets you bank one piece to use later. Clearing 4+ lines at once earns a bonus Shuffle; clearing 5+ earns a bonus Bomb too, and clearing the whole board earns an extra Bomb. Out of Bombs or Shuffles? Watch a short rewarded ad for one more.
Can I rotate pieces?
Pieces normally spawn in a fixed orientation — plan ahead for where each shape can go. If you'd like to rotate, watch a short rewarded ad from the banner above the tray to unlock rotation for your next placement.
The game feels stuck / a piece won't fit anywhere.
Try watching an ad to unlock rotation for a turn — a shape that looks stuck often fits once turned. If you're truly out of moves, use a Bomb or Shuffle to make room — and at the very end of a game, you'll get one more chance to watch a rewarded ad for a free Bomb before it's over.
