Brickado ("the app") is a single-player puzzle game with an optional online leaderboard. This policy explains, simply and completely, what happens with your data when you play.
Short version
Brickado itself does not collect, store, or share any personal data of its own. There are no accounts, no email/password sign-in, and no analytics. The app talks to two outside services: our own leaderboard (Google Firebase, described below) and Google AdMob (optional rewarded video ads, also described below).
Leaderboard (Firebase)
Brickado runs its own cross-platform leaderboard, built on Google Firebase. There is no account to create and no personal information (name, email, phone, etc.) is ever requested — the app silently assigns your device an anonymous identifier (via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) the first time you play, which is only ever used to know which leaderboard row is "yours."
A random display name (like "Player4821") is generated for you automatically; you can change it to anything you like from the leaderboard screen. This name, together with your best score, is stored on Firebase's servers and is visible to other players on the leaderboard.
Your chosen display name is also saved locally on your device (standard local storage, such as iOS UserDefaults) so it's remembered between sessions.
The leaderboard is optional in the sense that it never blocks gameplay — if it can't be reached (no internet, service issue, etc.) the game simply continues without it.
Uninstalling the app removes the locally-saved display name from your device. Your leaderboard entry itself (anonymous ID, name, score) remains on our servers; contact us (below) if you'd like it deleted.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Brickado shows optional rewarded video ads — for example, watching one can grant an extra Bomb or Shuffle, or a second chance at the end of a game. These are entirely opt-in: nothing is ever shown without you deliberately tapping to watch one.
To serve these ads, Google's AdMob SDK may collect device and usage information (such as device identifiers, general device type, and approximate location derived from IP address) and use it to serve and measure ads, in some cases in cooperation with its advertising partners.
Brickado does not request tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency) and does not use your device's advertising identifier for cross-app tracking, so ads are served in non-personalized mode where Apple/Google policy requires it.
If you never tap a "watch ad" button, no ad-related data is collected — the feature is entirely opt-in.
What the app does not do
No account creation or email/password sign-in of our own is required or offered.
No personal information (name, email, location, contacts, photos, etc.) is requested or accessed by us.
No cross-app tracking — Brickado does not ask for or use App Tracking Transparency permission.
No analytics or crash-reporting services are included.
No internet connection is required to play the core game — it's only used for the optional leaderboard and the optional rewarded ads.
Children's privacy
Brickado does not knowingly collect personal data from children. No sign-in, email, or personal information is ever requested from any player.
